Pink Wednesday with Future Dreams
This year we collaborated with the incredible charity Future Dreams. We turned our St John’s Wood Shop Pink for the night.
Having been affected by the cruel disease that is cancer. James Lakeland wanted to make this event the party of the year. James’s mother passed away in 2016 from cancer so this event was even more significant.
Pink ribbons were scattered, the champagne was flowing and the crowds were gathering in our small but intimate shop in St John’s Wood.
We had our specialist stylist Ilana Magar on hand to offer styling tips, makeup tutorials by our makeup guru, Rina Steinberg and cosmetic medical guidance from the beautiful Dr Surbi.
Coats and dresses were flying all over the store. Guests tried on the latest collection, whilst sipping on champagne and catching up on the latest beauty news from the experts.
Our star appearance of the night was Vera Ora, Mother to singing Rita Ora. Vera is a cancer survivor herself. But this hasn’t stopped her from embracing fashion and adopting a stylish stance within the fashion industry. Making an entrance in her sequin luxury coat by James Lakeland, she mingled with the other guests, soaking up the party atmosphere.
The Future Dreams girls made the biggest impact of the night. Whilst they tirelessly work hard to raise funds for the charity. It was an opportunity to let their hair down and indulge in some retail therapy. They also enjoyed a glass or two of champagne.
A big thank you to Jason Sasson for providing the most delicious nibbles and Lynn Margolis for the photography and the James Lakeland St John’s Wood ladies.
